The son of a Southern Baptist pastor, Tim was born in Atlanta, Georgia and accepted Christ at the young age of 9. Two years after graduating from UNC-Charlotte, God called him into the Gospel ministry and he completed his Master of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. God has blessed Tim with a passionate heart for evangelism, teaching, preaching, counseling, and missions. He has served as a lead pastor, staff member, International Mission Board (SBC) missionary church planter in Germany, the IMB strategist for Western Europe, and has been a team leader in Church Planting as well as Revitalization in associational work. Tim has extensive training and experience in marriage and family counseling. He is presently in a certification program for Crisis Intervention Counseling.
Tim is married to the former Kim Davis of Kannapolis, N.C. Kim is committed to the Lord, her family, ministry, missions, the study of God’s Word, and is especially gifted in hospitality, visual arts, and women's ministry. She has a part-time business in interior design. Tim and Kim have two amazing daughters, who are each married to wonderful, Godly men. Their family is also blessed with five beautiful grandchildren.
